Conference Travel and Accommodations

The 2018 Annual Conference—Intersections of Resistance in the Space Between—will be held June 7–9, 2018 at the University of Northern Colorado in conjunction with the Feminist inter/Modernist Association.  Please find information on housing options and meals below.

On-Campus Option

North Hall Suites

Room reservations at UNC’s North Hall include a private bedroom in a suite. Price listed is per person per night. Suites contain two or three bedrooms and include a living room and a bathroom with two sinks, a fully enclosed toilet, and a fully enclosed shower. You may choose your suitemates. Linens, parking pass (if needed), and access to laundry, kitchen, and common areas are also included in room reservations for no additional charge.

Reservations may be made for Wednesday, June 6th through Sunday, June 10th. Please purchase the number of nights you plan to stay, and email Sarah Cornish (Sarah.Cornish@unco.edu) with your arrival date/time, departure date/time, and suitemate names. Off-Campus Housing Options

DoubleTree by Hilton at Lincoln Park

DoubleTree by Hilton at Lincoln Park, Downtown Greeley, just 2 miles from campus. Conference attendees can book a room for 1-2 people at $129/night, depending on availability. Just mention “UNC Friends and Family Rate” when you call (970) 304-0000. The DoubleTree could not accommodate a block of rooms for the weekend of our conference, so book soon!

Vacation Rentals

There are a variety of Airbnb and VRBO vacation rental options in and around Greeley (there’s even a covered wagon that sleeps 4!). If you want to book a vacation rental and have questions about the neighborhood and access to campus or other areas, please contact Sarah.

Meals

On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, breakfast and lunch will be provided at Holmes Dining Hall, right next door to North Hall. Attendees will be able to customize meals to meet most dietary preferences. All conference attendees, whether staying on campus or off, will receive breakfast and lunch at Holmes. If you have a particular dietary restriction, UNC’s chefs will happily accommodate you with advance notice. Please contact Sarah for more information.
